An Arkansas woman has been arrested in connection to the suspected fentanyl overdose of a Bermudian woman.

In a statement, the Blytheville Police Department said they responded to a report of an unresponsive female on July 23 and found Shania Haller, 29, deceased.

The statement said: “During the course of the investigations, detectives with the Blytheville Criminal Investigations Division, along with agents from the Second Judicial DTF, discovered that Lynsey Stallings, 30, was found to be in connection to the death.

“Ms Stallings was transported to the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office and charged with numerous drug charges including aggravated death by delivery for the death of Ms Haller.”

A booking form specified that Ms Stallings was charged with delivering fentanyl, along with maintaining a drug premises, possessing drug equipment and having cocaine and meth.

Ms Stallings is expected to appear in Blytheville District Court for her matter to be mentioned on Monday, with the police stating that the investigation was still ongoing.
