A man was arrested by armed officers this week as part of a continuing criminal investigation, the Bermuda Police Service confirmed.

The incident took place near Harrington Sound Lane and Manor House Drive, just off Harrington Sound Road in Smith’s, at about 11am yesterday.

A BPS spokesman confirmed the arrest was “part of an ongoing investigation into a criminal matter”.

He added: “Given the sensitive nature of this investigation, it would not be prudent to provide further information at this time.”
