Are we being cheated?

March 24, 2012Dear Sir,We are facing a rise again with a load of water, however I am asking what’s a standard water load? I have yet to walk into a grocery store and purchase a one litre bottle of soda and pay the same price for a two litre bottle of soda. Water trucks have 800 gallons to 1,200 gallons and we must pay the same price for any load of water between these gallons. I feel I am been cheated. I understand the wear and tear on tires and maintenance of truck, but what’s a standard? We don’t know, this needs to be settled as one customer gets their money’s worth while the other is left a few gallons short if you don’t order from the truck with the bigger water load, my fellow Bermudians please pay attention when purchasing water to be sure you get your money worth in these economical recessional times.CONCERNED BERMUDIANHamilton Parish
