Paget couple receive rude awakening

A Paget couple got a nasty shock when they were woken by a burglar at the bottom of their bed.

The man fled the Highwood Lane home with a red ladies' bag before they could get a good description.

The bag contained a pink Apple I-Pod, a Palm Pilot and a Nokia cellular phone.

Police are also investigating a breaking and entering at Auto Express on Addendum Lane in Pembroke between 3 p.m. on Sunday and 7.15 a.m. on Monday.

The culprit stole $100 worth of coins.

Burglar strikes in Southampton

A burglar broke into a Middle Road, Southampton home overnight on Monday and stole $50, a silver helmet with a clear visor and a black Honda Biz motorcycle with the licence number AV 862 from the garage.

Police are also investigating the theft of a new white GE dishwasher from Old Maid's Lane, St. George's home on Sunday.
