Clarien donates $75,000 to charities

Clarien Bank Ltd has donated $75,000 to local charities through the Clarien Foundation.

The bank announced that it had donated $50,000 to the Reading Clinic to support the I-Play early childhood development programme, along with $15,000 to the Menuhin Foundation and $10,000 to the Bsmart Development Foundation.

Michael DeCouto, Clarien chief marketing officer and committee member of The Clarien Foundation, said: “The Foundation is proud to announce its support of this year’s recipient charities — all of whom contribute significantly to our Island community through innovative and proven specialised education programmes. In doing so, they reflect Clarien’s core values of supporting organisations dedicated to enhancing the experience, education and welfare of Bermudians.”
