Harkness fires sizzling 64
year's BGA Super Summer League -- and one of the lowest ever in the league's history -- when he recorded a superb six-under-par 64 at Riddell's Bay on Saturday.
But Harkness, recently arrived on the Island from Scotland, could help his his team only to a second place finish on the day as they were upstaged by new league leaders Ocean View for whom teenager Aaron James carded a three-under-par 67.
With four scores out of six counting towards the team total, Ocean View finished on 288, two better than Belmont.
Full results, see Scoreboard Fourteen-year-old Jarryd Dillas warmed up for this month's Junior Worlds in San Diego when he fired the lowest score -- a two-under-par 68 -- on the opening day of the Atlantic International Junior Championships at Belmont yesterday.
Dillas leads the boys' 13-14 age division by a commanding eight shots from Tom Edwards (76).
