BSX announces listing of two funds
that it has approved the secondary listing of the Schroder International Selection Fund and the primary listing of the Schroder Offshore US dollar bond fund.
The Schroder International Fund (SISF) is Luxembourg registered. The fund has listed class A shares of the following sub-funds: Emerging Markets, European Equity GDP Weighted, Global Equity, Japanese Equity, UK Equity, European Smaller companies, Japanese Smaller Companies, US Smaller Companies and European Bond. The sub-funds are managed by Schroder Investment Management Limited and invested according to their own specific objective category.
Currently the SISF sub-funds are also listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
The Schroder Offshore US Dollar Bond Fund is an open ended unit trust established under Bermuda law. The fund, managed by Schroder (Bermuda) Limited and advised by Schroder Investment Management Limited, is seeking to achieve a high total return by investing in an actively managed portfolio of US dollar denominated high quality, fixed income securities using a low-risk diversified approach.
Mary A. Sousa, Listing Manager of the BSX, said: "We are very pleased Schroders has chosen to list these funds on the exchange. Their addition enhances the BSX's list of recognised global investment management groups and also raises the total number of listed offshore mutual funds on the exchange to over 100.'' The listing of the funds was sponsored by MRM Securities Ltd., a subsidiary of MRM Financial Services Ltd. The shares of the funds are now available for secondary market trading.
