Three men injured in road accidents
Three young men were arrested following a disturbance at Victoria Park in Hamilton.Police provided few details about the incident, which happened at 3.15pm on Tuesday. A spokesman said: “As a result, three young men were arrested in connection with the incident and subsequently released on police bail.“Inquiries into this matter are ongoing.”Two people were also injured following road traffic collisions on Tuesday. A 52-year-old Hamilton Parish man was hurt at 10.20am, when his motorcycle and an SUV collided at the junction of North Shore Road and Workmen's Lane in Hamilton Parish.Another motorcyclist was hurt in a collision with a van on Stowe Hill, Paget around 12pm. A 19-year-old Sandys parish woman was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.At 1.45pm, a van on Somerset Road struck an unoccupied car parked near the Cambridge Road junction. Both vehicles were damaged in the accident.
