Shares of Bermuda Aviation Services closed down $0.75 (25 per cent), at $2.25, after 200 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index yesterday.

The stock was one of two decliners on the day, the other was Ascendant Group, which dropped $0.15 (2.6 per cent) to close at $5.65.

A total of 12,300 shares were exchanged on the Index, with the only other trades occurring in the Insurance sector. Argus Group saw 200 of its stock change hands, but the closing price remained unchanged at $3.80. BF&M had 500 shares traded, with no change to the closing price of $18.00.

The Index closed at 1,370.14, down 4.53 points (0.33 per cent). The BSX Insurance Index also fell, closing at 1,540.6, down 18.27 (1.17 per cent).
