Gavaska Lodge has worked on boats all his life and after obtaining his captain?s licence it was always his dream to own his charter business.

Now his dream has come true and he is launching the first officials season as the owner and operator of Another Emerald Executive Charters.

?People like to come out on a boat and relax and get away from the world for a little while,? Mr. Lodge said yesterday.

?When I bought the boat I kept the name because emeralds are precious gems and there is nothing like seeing someone getting off the boat who has enjoyed their day.?

The 40-foot custom designed Trojan was purchased last year and he started operating last August but over the winter he made improvements to the vessel to ensure a more comfortable cruise. The facilities on board include a variety of amenities such as a dining area and shower facilities.

Mr. Lodge has been captain on numerous tour boats such as the , the Glass Bottom Boat and the Night Glass Bottom boat for Fantasy Cruises.

He can arrange sightseeing tours, cocktail cruises, birthday parties, luncheon dinners, or other cruises for special occasions.
