Competition offers offices an organisational makeover

Does your small business use the Out of Sight out of Mind (OSOM) approach to filing or the Stack and Shove (SAS) method?

January is Get Organised Month, and productivity consultant Cindy Swan is holding an Extreme Office Productivity Makeover Contest to help people get into the spirit.

?We want executives, business owners and administrative clerks to take a serious look at their office or workstation and ask themselves whether this reflects who they really are,? said Mrs. Swan. ?Does it reflect the quality of my company?s products and services? Am I managing my time and space efficiently so I can be more productive and enjoy life??

The winner of the contest will receive an Extreme Office Productivity Makeover for their office based on originality and need as described in their contest entry. This makeover is valued at more than $9,000.

Mrs. Swan and her assistant will go to the winner?s office to streamline their processes and create a productive environment for them. At the end of the makeover session, she guarantees that the winner will have a more productive office environment so they can accomplish their work and enjoy their life.

According to a recent study, the average executive wastes six weeks annually searching for important documents lost in clutter. For an executive earning $80,000, that time lost through disorganisation costs his or her company a staggering $9,200 annually.

To be eligible, contest participants must fill out an entry form and fill out a Productive Environment Scorecard for Individuals, available from Mrs. Swan.

For contest information fax Mrs. Swan and 297-5045 Attn: Makeover Contest or email organizeibl.bm.
