Prosecuting, Insp. Peter Duffy told Magistrates' Court the offences occurred in Hamilton on December 3.
He said Scraders took confectionery, toiletry, and newspapers from the Phoenix Centre.
The items came to $89.29, Insp Duffy told Magistrate the Wor. Cheryl-Ann Mapp.
Earlier that afternoon, Insp. Duffy said, Scraders took a pair of black trousers, blue jeans, and a green track top from Reid Street's Knick Knack store. The goods were valued at $90.
Scraders was granted $500 bail, and the case put off until January 18.*l
