US flights almost back on schedule
Most flight schedules returned to normal at LF Wade International Airport today after a new winter storm on the US eastern seaboard forced cancellations last night.
According to Airport General Manager Aaron Adderley the only flight cancelled today was the American Airlines flight due out from JFK Airport.
“All flights are expected to operate per normal tomorrow,” said Mr Adderley.
Flights out of New York were affected yesterday.
“American flight 1443 to JFK was cancelled yesterday morning as too was the airline’s flight from JFK in the evening.
“Delta’s flight 1275 from LaGuardia airport did arrive, as scheduled. However, the return flight 1773 was cancelled,” he said.
And there was no Delta flight out of LaGuadia today in anticipation of weather conditions at the airport today.
“Despite a slight delay due to de-icing operations, United’s service to and from Newark operated as per normal today,” Mr Adderley said.
