Husband and wife duo Chris and Heather Roque claimed victory as Bermuda Powerboat Association got their season underway at Ferry Reach on Sunday.The pair won the FB class while Andy and Anthony Stoneham triumphed in the S Class and Henry Talbot jr. and Howard Ascento won the C Class.Taking line honours in the D Class were Ryan Davidge and Andrew Osbourne while Brian Lightbourne and Kenny Matthie won the Thunder Cat Class.Also competing on the day, Derek Simons won two of the day’s three races in the Bermuda Offshore Model Boat Association (BOMBA) division.Mike Lee ended at the top of the leaderboard with 141 points while Simons finished second with 123. Quintonio Ratteray rounded out the top three with 110 points. In the Open Class, Damon Simons won all three races to finish with 180 points, Simons finished second with 140 and Cleun Gaiton third with 95 points.
