The Bermuda Foundation for Insurance is thanking the Arch Group for its continuing support of its programmes.Since 2003 the Arch Capital Group of Companies in Bermuda has made annual donations to the Bermuda Foundation For Insurance Studies,” BFIS said.“To date those donations total $150,000,” Michael Fisher, BFIS chairman, said. “The continuing support from such a well-recognised industry leader, the Arch Group, is very important to BFIS and assists us in maintaining the level of our scholarship awards, as well as supporting our other educational programmes.”Flanked by two recipients of BFIS scholarships working at Arch this summer together with Matt Dragonetti, Arch Charity Committee chairman, Terry Pimentel, president of Arch Insurance (Bermuda) said: “The importance of BFIS cannot be stressed enough. Starting in the high schools they are opening the eyes of students to the possibilities of a career in insurance, and are there to support students through either scholarship funding, mentoring, providing network opportunities and even assistance with finding employment. We are delighted to continue to support BFIS in these endeavours.”
