Hodgson at Horseshoe Bay, one of the men involved told The Royal Gazette yesterday.

Mr. David Wilkinson said Mr. Howard Eugene Smith of Southampton helped rescue Miss Hodgson along with Mr. Wilkinson, Mr. Raymond Todd, and Mr. Willis Dill.

Miss Hodgson got caught in a dangerous "rip tide'' which quickly pulled her far from the shore.
