THE BF&M NATIONAL HIGH AND MIDDLE SCHOOL CHALLENGE

On December 18th, 2013 students from the Berkeley Institute Team challenged themselves to an individual health and fitness challenge within The BF&M National High School Challenge. During the holidays students participated in tennis camps, beach boot camps in the hope to starting the new year off with a healthier attitude to life. To help them on their journey the team committed to writing a daily food journal from mid December through to mid January. Some of the students wish to lose a few pounds while the others just wish to make better choices with their diet and exercise. During the holidays the students completed health quizzes and motivated their team members daily with wats app messages. The finale was a swim and exercise class in the ocean on New Year’s Eve morning at Horseshoe Bay.

The BF&M National High School Challenge is in its fourth year. PartnerRe is also sponsoring the programme. Over the coming weeks of January the community will get the opportunity to watch highlights of the Challenge on ZBM TV9 between ‘The Young and The Restless’ and TV 9 News on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
