Belmont Hotel have had the property up for sale. Granada has no plans to sell the property.

LONDON (Bloomberg) -- Granada Group Plc may miss its self imposed deadline of late January for selling all 17 hotels in the Exclusive chain it bought last year as part of the takeover of Forte Plc, British newspaper The Observer said yesterday.

The UK leisure company has sold just three of the properties and may be having difficulty selling the Grosvenor House hotel in London because the building needs up to 50 million pounds ($84 million) worth of repairs.

Granada has also put the Belmont Hotel in Bermuda on the market. Belmont was previously owned by Forte.

A group of local investors let by Speaker of the House of Assembly Ernest DeCouto and former Forte executive William Griffiths bought Forte's other Bermuda propety, the Harmony Club late last year.
