Licence tags can be purchased at any post office. For spayed or neutered dogs the annual cost is $21. For all other dogs the annual cost is $53. Veterinary certificates are required as proof the animal is spayed or neutered.

Owners are also reminded it is an offence to allow a dog to stray from their property. This can result a $5,000 fine.
