Mayho claims victory in Criterium Series

Dominique Mayho held off Mark Hatherley to win the Bermuda Bicycle Association’s Criterium Series race in the City of Hamilton at the weekend.The race through the streets of the capital, saw Mayho (37:59.4) win the Adult A Division division ahead of Hatherley (37:59.7).Shannon Lawrence was third in 38:00.5.In the Adult B category, Kareem Johnson (30:03.1) powered his way to victory, with Daren Dowling (30:04.8) finishing second.Randy Burgess finished third in 30:05.2.Howard Williams’ time of 23:30.8 saw him win the Adult C Division race, while McKeon Stevens finished second with a time of 24:03.3 and Andrew Soares finished third in a time of 24:03.3.Gabriella Arnold was declared the winner in the Women’s Division with a time of 22:28.5, with Earlena Ingham recording the same time in finishing second.The Junior A Division was won by RaJul Matthie-Shakir with a time of 22:49.4, while Senoj Mitchell won the Junior B Division race with a time of 15:46.4.In the Junior C Division, Alexander Miller crossed the line first in a time of 12:19.3.
