Bank shares slip on quiet trading day

The Bermuda Stock Exchange Index dropped yesterday after two stocks dipped on a very quiet day of trading in which just over $58,000.
Bank of Butterfield lost $0.50 and Bermuda Commercial Bank lost 25 cents to finish at $32 and $6.50 respectively.
The index closed down 12.30 points or 0.47 percent at 2,624.62 on a volume of 2,049 shares worth $58,806.
