BSX slides 0.8 percent for the week

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index lost 0.8 percent last week, with companies in several sectors bringing the index down 21.218 points to close at 2,685.82.
The Bank of Bermuda lost 50 cents during the week to finish at $44. BF&M shares fell a quarter point to $10.75 while the company's preferred shares lost one dollar to close at $12.
BELCO shares also fell a dollar, and closed at $30.50.
In corporate issues, FBS MBIC 1994 "A" traded at $22.55, while the Bermuda Hospitals Board 8 percent Bermuda dollar issue lost $2 to close at $104.
