BSX slips in light trading

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index dipped yesterday after 10 cents was shaved off the price of Bank of Butterfield shares.
The bank's stock, which was the only one to trade during the day, lost 0.3 percent of its value to close at $34.50.
This pushed the index down by 2.42 points or 0.1 percent to 2,540.46 on a volume of 1,025 shares worth $35,362.50. No bonds traded.
