two charges involving the theft of $506,000 from a client. No trial date was set.

Madeiros, represented by lawyer Mr. Richard Hector, was charged with stealing $506,000 from Boyd Davis between April 1987 and November 1989.

He was also charged with the fraudulent disposition of trust property. The charge claims that, while acting as a trustee, he attempted to convert $506,000 to his own use without authority.

Madeiros, who is free on bail, was told to reappear in Supreme Court for mention on May 4.

A trial date of August 10 was set for Milton Shane Watson, charged with the murder of Wilbur Doe. Mr. Doe was attacked in December, 1988, and died in August, 1989, without regaining consciousness.

Watson, who is in custody, has been tried twice before for the murder. His conviction was quashed by the Court of Appeals and a retrial ordered. Watson, 30, has challenged the retrial order and is seeking to have it overturned by the Privy Council in London.
