School children from Dalton E Tucker Primary School in Sandy's Parish got a taste of what it was like to be a broker with a tour of the trading desk at LOM on Friday.

The group of nine to 11-years-olds, which was led by the school's deputy principal Jay Tucker, included Joseph Basden, Dukarai Burgess-Richardson, Jonathan Simons, Giovanni Campbell, Joshua Correia, Biaggio Filice, Nathan Rego, Isaiah Todd, Daizhari Tucker, Keeron Wilson and D'ontae Zuill.

The youngsters were shown around the trading floor and other areas and departments of the financial services company, and even had the opportunity to go into the vault to see the gold bars, as part of their ongoing professional development seminars and given an snapshot of working in the industry.
