Lads,
You're the talk of the town out here in Australia - front page of the national paper. I'm tired after no sleep last night, but how can you turn the cricket off when you've got England on the ropes?
Can't wait to board that plane for Trinidad - what a party it's going to be. Enjoy it. Cheers,
Nigel Swain, Sydney Australia

Hey you Guys:
I know you all must be feeling real good about yourselves; I feel good knowing that little ole Bermuda has a team playing among the big guns for the world cup, just awesome. Congratulations on your achievements thus far.
My prayer is that you guys do your best. I know you are all in great form because I traveled on the same plane as you when you were on your way to Trinidad on January 8 and I literally did not recognize a few of you because of the weight lost (super). My girlfriend and I were going to Jamaica, remember ‘Twinkle Toes’. We were sitting just in front of you; you were feeling mighty good about yourself, profiling and things, telling us we will not find anyone down ‘Yard’ looking like you, as you set up your chest and made it dance. Well, you were right, we found no one like you down there.
To the rest of you, don’t sell yourselves short just because; if each one of you play your personal best but also play as a team, no telling what the outcome might be. Put aside all of your differences for the sake of the team. Don’t fear them, you have nothing to lose, they do. Play your game not theirs. Encourage each other, especially those of you who are strong with optimism, share it with the team throughout, on and off the pitch.
You’ve had a great coach and he’s bought you this far. Continue to listen to him and don’t forget to enjoy yourselves. And if for some strange reason you don’t win, feel good knowing you gave it all you’ve got. I will continue to follow your game via newspaper/online; the best to all of you.
Love
Roseanne Williams
All of the very best Guys,

To my Bermuda team I am proud of you! To the boys from St Davids you can do all things thru Christ who strengthens you.
Do your best and God will do the rest.
Sis Slaughter and Slaughter’s daughter aka Violette and Dellesha Fox, St George’s
Dear Team Bermuda,
You have not only every heart and soul in Bermuda behind you, but all neutrals in the cricket-playing world as well.
Your lofty Test opponents have no divine right to win, and in terms of raw talent you are their equals.
Whatever the result, I'll sing the following song:
"We're the Gus Logie Army,
We're all going to Trini,
And we'll really shake them up,
When we win the World Cup,
Cos Bermuda are the greatest Cricket Team!"
Good luck,
Puisne Judge Ian Kawaley
I wish you guys the very best of luck. I know that you are up against some tough opposition but I know you can give them a scare! Play well and above all enjoy the experience and take whatever lessons that you can. GO BERMUDA!
Karen Woolridge-Pitt

Today is a day that will live forever in the annals of Bermudian History. We have no doubt that you will move from strength to strength as you continue to break barriers. You are a shining example to young and old alike; a testament to the power of perseverance. Keep the faith and keep up the good work.
Be encouraged, Be strong, Be Bermudian.
Wishing you much success and continued blessings,
The Simmons Family (Jamahl, Sherri, Stephen, & Nasir)
Now is the time to enjoy all of the hard work you have put into your preparations. Take one game at a time and as the saying goes 'stay to the wicket and the runs will come'.
Good luck and best wishes.
Neville and Sheila Tyrrell
You guys go for it. Watched the match on TV here in the UK and was thoroughly entertained by the whole match. You had the England players on the ropes early on, keep pushing and you may well get some scalps this tournament, Great performance from all. Dont be remembered for being underdogs, if you go out, go out with some style, flair and great drills as you guys showed today. Keep Borden and Leverock running in, Brilliant!
Good luck guys, a lot of us English will be following you after your great performance today!
James Welsh, UK
In the Book of Numbers (13:25-33) a story is told of two people that Moses sent out to survey the Promise Land. One report was the the land was flowing with milk and honey but that there were giants in the land.
The giants were so big that the person giving the report said that he felt like a grasshopper to them which is the way the giants would have seen him. But another report, from Caleb, said that yes, there are giants in the land but we are well able to possess it.
In this World Cup journey, Bermuda is indeed up against giants. But as long as we do not see ourselves as grasshoppers, we are well able to take on the giants. We may not win a single match (this time) but if we have the right mindset, we will account well of ourselves. And who knows, we might even slay a few giants. We are well able to possess the land!
Cordell W. Riley
Sluggo,
Nice one bird! I had to take a lot of flak about the England score from my West Indian and Indian colleagues here, but they retreated quite a bit when they took a closer look at our bowling – especially your brilliant performance. Now if you could only come to your senses about playing for St. George’s instead of Somerset, all would be well in my cricket world.
Best wishes to you and the rest of the team. There are a couple of us byes in New York that will be pulling for the team from here!
Kees van Beelen, New York City
