Stars of cricket season receive awards at BCB prize giving
The Bermuda Cricket Board honoured players, coaches, officials, administrators and teams at its annual Prize Giving Awards ceremony on Saturday.

The evening featured guest speaker Andre Coley, BCB international cricket consultant and former head coach of Cricket West Indies, who shared inspiring insights on high-performance development, athletic discipline and advancing Bermudian cricket on the international stage.
Southampton Rangers Sports Club and Warwick Workmen’s Club emerged as the major team award winners of the night, sweeping multiple league and knockout titles across both divisions.
A key highlight of the ceremony was paying tribute to longstanding contributors, dedicated staff, and corporate partners.
The BCB Icon Award was give to Derek Wright for his many decades of unwavering commitment and outstanding contributions to cricket in Bermuda.
The Long Service Award was presented to Samantha Robinson, honouring her milestone of 20 years of dedicated employment and service at the Bermuda Cricket Board.
The BCB Annual Good Corporate Citizenship Award was given to law firm Cox Hallett Wilkinson (CHW) in recognition of their valuable support and commitment to the BCB Senior Men’s National Team throughout 2026. The award was accepted by Fiona Bada on behalf of CHW.
“Reflecting on an exceptional year of athletic excellence, community engagement and international momentum, the Bermuda Cricket Board extends its sincere congratulations to all team champions, award recipients, and nominees,” read a statement by the BCB.
