Teach them a lesson

March 19, 2014

Dear Sir,

I am one of the motorists that make the treck into the city in the morning. I am personally so fed up with motorcyclists. These people are a danger to every driver on the road. Once I get onto the main road I turn right and drive against the traffic. Most mornings someone gives way to me, or should I say motorists in four wheeled vehicles give way. However, this means nothing to those motorists on motor bikes. They do not stop or give way.

I have seen car drivers stick their heads and arms out of their vehicles to try and stop the motor bikers from overtaking when they are giving way. These careless people not only put themselves at risk but, the rest of us as well. I think there should be stiffer penalties for people who ride motor bikes. If they are involved in an accident and they are at fault the judge should throw the book at them, someone has to teach them a lesson, and the rest of us need to be protected from them.

FED UP
