GOLF GLF The Bermuda Golf Association's Amateur Strokeplay Championships will be played at Port Royal from June 12-15 and 25 men and eight women have so far entered.

The cut-off is Friday and completed entry forms, which can be collected at all local clubs, should be delivered to the secretary of the BGA Tom Smith together with the entry fee of $160 for the men and $120 for the women.

Interested participants can also call 238-1367 to arrange to drop off their forms.

Last year's winners Robert Vallis of Bermuda and Gail Flanagan of New York have not yet entered so two titles could be up for grabs. Last year, 75 men and 18 women competed in the championships.
