Official times from race organisers had Steede completing the race in 305th place overall in 2:49.39 while Andre Manders was 407th in 2:53.02 in his first Boston run.
A third local, Ahmed ElAmin, also broke three hours, coming in 535th in 2:56.44.
A total of seven runners from Bermuda competed in the event which attracted 11,499 starters.
Andy Shelp clocked 3:09.19 with Roderick Bassett following in 3:39.06, just six seconds ahead of Tanis Browning-Shelp who placed 475th among the women while Rosemary Jones came in 528th in 3:34.15.
RUGBY FIRST RUG Rugby first Bermuda's youth rugby side get their first taste of competitive action tonight with a game against a school from just outside Boston.
The under-18 team, captained by Ben Beasley, who attends Saltus, will take on Brook Line High School at National Sports Club at 5.15 p.m.
A squad of 17 has been selected to represent the Island from a total of around 40 youngsters who have regularly turned up to training sessions.
Bermuda Rugby Football Union president John Williams said the team hoped to do well but "it's our first competitive game so we're not expecting miracles''.
