in an alleyway on the grounds of a Hamilton church yesterday.

He was identified as Mr. Irvin (Ivan) Leonard Groner Dunlop and was a golf caddy at the Mid Ocean Club, Police said.

Mr. Dunlop was found by the sexton of St. Paul AME Church, Mr. Leroy Augustus, at about noon.

The Royal Gazette understands Mr. Dunlop may have died after being stabbed.

A Police spokesman said the death was being investigated as a possible murder.

An incident room with several men had been set up with Det. Insp. Jonathan Smith in charge.

Mr. Augustus said that when he found the body, he thought Mr. Dunlop was one of the "drunks'' who often slept on the church property.

The dead man was wearing clothes and had a bag near by, he said. A co-worker of Mr. Dunlop's said he was a "friendly, outgoing guy'' who had worked regularly at Mid Ocean Club.

He was not a violent man and he was surprised to learn of his suspicious death, said the co-worker, who did not want to be named.

He is thought to have a twin brother.

And autopsy on Mr. Dunlop had been completed, Police said.

Police are continuing their probe into another possible murder.

Former Fort St. Catherine curator Mr. Vincello Sinclair (Johnny Peppers) Richardson, 57, was pulled from St. George's Harbour last Friday morning.

An autopsy revealed he had head injuries which were likely inflicted shortly before he entered the water.

An investigative team led by Chief Insp. Carlton Adams was set up and is anxious to hear from anyone who might have seen Mr. Richardson last Thursday night or Friday morning or who has any information.
