Police urge road sense
The Bermuda Police Service is urging the community to slow down and to use care, caution and courtesy on the Island's roads.
Those travelling in cars are reminded to please use their seatbelts at all times and those travelling on motorcycles are asked to fasten their helmets and to avoid making a third lane.
This comes after last week's road statistics of ten reported injury collisions, 38 reported damage only collisions, seven people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, 17 vehicles reported taken without the owner's consent.
There was one vehicle stolen in Hamilton Parish, four from Devonshire, seven from Pembroke, one from Paget, three from Warwick and one from Sandys Parish.
The majority of these vehicles were auxiliary/motorcycles, with one car stolen during this period.
Of the 17 vehicles reported stolen, three, including the car have been recovered.
