BermudAir is celebrating its third anniversary with the next phase of its growth including the launch of its own ground-handling operations and the offer of discounts on fares.

Since operating its inaugural flight in 2023, BermudAir has grown from a Bermuda start-up into an increasingly diversified aviation business. Its flights connect the island with key destinations across North America and the Caribbean while the company continues to invest in infrastructure and staff to support its long-term growth.

The company said its momentum was underscored by a particularly strong commercial performance throughout August, during which it achieved a 77.1 per cent passenger load factor.

BermudAir said it continues to achieve “exceptionally strong customer satisfaction results”. The airline’s Net Promoter Score remains above 70, which it said places BermudAir among the world’s leading companies for customer advocacy and “providing a powerful indication of the loyalty and satisfaction of its customers”.

BermudAir has also successfully transitioned to providing its own ground-handling services in Bermuda.

The airline’s team members are now responsible for the handling of its aircraft, baggage and customers on the ground at its home airport. There has been a substantial investment including new equipment, infrastructure, training and employment, while giving the airline greater control over operational performance and customer experience.

Adam Scott, the founder and chief executive of BermudAir, said: “Launching our own ground-handling operation in Bermuda has been an enormous undertaking and I could not be more proud of our team.

“The transition has been successfully completed and gives us greater control over one of the most important parts of our operation, while creating new jobs and developing additional aviation expertise here in Bermuda.”

To celebrate the anniversary, BermudAir is offering a 30 per cent discount on published base fares on all routes from gateways.

The discounts are available from Thursday to Friday for travel from September 15 to November 15, when the promo code BIRTHDAY3 is used at checkout at www.flybermudair.com.

The airline said it is now entering another significant period of development, which will include the expansion of its cargo business and preparations for the introduction of Airbus A220 aircraft to the fleet.
