SALTUS UNBEATEN ON TOUR SOC Saltus unbeaten on tour Saltus school recorded two victories in two days during their soccer tour of Canada.
The under-19 representatives played Ridley and Appleby Colleges in Toronto and ran out 1-0 and 2-0 winners respectively.
In the first game Justin Rebello scored after five minutes and though Saltus enjoyed most of the play they couldn't add to their tally.
The second match saw Jesse Marshall notch both Saltus goals in the first-half.
Defender Terry Sousa had an outstanding game for the visitors.
Today the tourists play Crescent College, followed by Trinity College tomorrow.
PE teacher Jon Beard said: "It is going very, very well. The kids are in good spirits and are enjoying the football. It's a little bit colder than they are used to. It's clear and sunny but very cold.
"We have good pitches, good facilities and the schools are very hospitable and the kids are enjoying all of it.'' The team return to Bermuda on Wednesday.
