Family Centre appeals for Cup Match volunteers
Care to give back to the community this Cup Match?
The Family Centre is appealling for last-minute volunteers to assist in its fundraising Tag Day tomorrow.
The charity’s special Cup Match ribbons — in Saint George’s and Somerset colours — are already available at locations across the Island.
But kind-hearted residents are urged to give up their time to help to distribute even more and give a much-needed boost to the Family Centre’s funds.
“The money is for our counselling and prevention services,” said Sarah Dunstan, the charity’s development director.
“For the Tag Day we’ll have ribbon stations all over the Island, from St George’s to Somerset.
“Please get in touch if you can help.”
Ms Dunstan said the Family Centre was also “still accepting pictures for our Cup Match photo contest”.
Entrants must strike a creative pose with their Cup Match ribbons for the chance to win a $250 voucher from MarketPlace.
If you have an hour to donate for the Tag Day, please contact sarah@tfc.prevention.bm or call 232-1116 for a list of available time slots and locations.
To enter the photo contest, post your picture on the Family Centre’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/familycentrebda, or send them to the email address above. The winner will be chosen and announced tomorrow.
