Floyd Calvin Spence admitted on Monday to punching a pane of glass belonging to Reuben McCoy, causing $365 worth of damage.

Prosecutor Insp. Peter Duffy told the court Spence went to McCoy's home in search of his ex-girlfriend in the early hours of September 5. He repeatedly banged on the door, demanding to talk to her.

McCoy told him to leave the property on Mission Lane, Pembroke, eventually threatening to call the Police.

Spence punched the glass and then walked away shouting obscenities, said Insp.

Duffy.

Spence, 23, of Rambling Lane, Pembroke, told the court the woman was pregnant.

"This individual's giving her drugs,'' he said. Before the incident he had tried to get the matter dealt with the right way, by going to the Police, without success.

Spence was fined $400 including compensation.
