The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index fell 30.59 points to close at 4,893.16 with the sale of 5,172 Butterfield Bank shares at a closing price of $59.25, a 25 cent decline from Tuesday.

Kentucky Fried Chicken shares gained 50 cents to close at $6 as 1,000 shares changed hands while Key Tech (the parent company of BTC) gained 15 cents on a volume of 500, closing at $15.75.

The only other activity was a 25 cent drop for Argus which closed at $14.25 and BF&M which closed at $15, a $1 drop from Tuesday.
