Butterfield shares slump 2.8% in New York

BF&M was the lone stock to trade on the BSX
BF&M Ltd remained unchanged on $18.70 as 1,400 of its shares changed hands in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The insurer was the lone stock to trade as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed where it opened on 1,895.72.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank slumped 90 cents, or 2.83 per cent, to close on $30.92 on the New York Stock Exchange, as 262,664 shares changed hands. The bank last traded on the BSX at $26.10.
The BSX Insurance Index climbed 41.73 points, or 2.64 per cent, to close on 1,619.91.
