New features planned — and we need your help
The Royal Gazette is launching two features in our Lifestyle pages in the coming weeks and we really need your help.
First up is Unsung Heroes. We’re looking for people who are doing great things in our community without public acknowledgment. Don’t bother us with anyone who’s made the Queen’s Honours List, whose efforts have been detailed in the media or whose good works have already been recognised publicly. Worthy though those accomplishments may be, we’re looking for ordinary people whose extraordinary efforts have gone unnoticed — the family that has adopted four kids, the man who rescued his neighbours from their burning home, the couple who regularly clean the garbage off the streets ... we want to hear about them all.
For our second feature, How We Met, we want to know, well ... how you and your spouse got to know each other. Share your funny and romantic tales of that fateful first meeting; was it love at first sight or was yours a union years in the making? What keeps the two of you together? Is it her wit, his charm?
