In addition to having new riders compete, Bermuda's professional racer in the United States, Chris Wallington, will be on hand to talk about the sport and offer a demonstration ride.

"This is by no means restricted to fast, heavy motorcycles. We are hoping that anyone with smaller bikes such as scooters will come and join in the competition and race against bikes similar to their own,'' said BACU spokesman David Jones.

"We want to see our numbers increase from the present 50 and we can only do so through something like this.'' There are few age or bike restrictions with all males and females from 10-years-old up welcome to participate.
