New Kymco models give riders a choice
For more than a decade, Kymco bikes have made a name for themselves as some of the most stylish, reliable and affordable bikes on the local market.
Kymco has recently added two more models to its impressive range of scooters – the latest generation of the People GTi and the brand new Super 8 50cc and 150cc. All three bikes are now available for the first time in Bermuda through Kymco Bermuda.
Now in its third generation, the new-look People GTi 125cc combines comfortable riding and responsive control with high performance that can handle the morning commute as easily as a cruise along South Shore.
The brand-new fuel-injected engine offers better power and fuel economy with maximum horsepower of 7500rpm. High-powered front and rear disk brakes and the unique twin-bone design, high-tension chassis provides extra stability for safer riding. Add to that included extras such as an iPod/iPhone charger and matching rear box, the GTi offers a real value-for-money package.
With their aggressive sports styling and bold, eye-catching graphics, there's no mistaking the new Kymco Super 8 bikes. Light and agile, they are fun to ride as well as being economical to run.
The Super 8 is powered by Kymco's latest generation of 4 stroke air-cooled engines, which makes it a highly fuel-efficient scooter, as well as producing low carbon emissions. Other features include: powerful front disc and rear drum brakes, electric and kick-start, automatic choke, lockable under seat storage box for helmet, shopping or waterproofs, steering lock, rear carrier, centre and side stands. You can check out the GTi and the Super 8s at Kymco's new showroom, which opens in Washington Lane later this month. Not only will the store showcase the full range of Kymco bikes but it will also offer a wide selection of top grade accessories and clothing – and not just for bikes.
In addition to helmets and bike boxes from Givi, mufflers by LeoVince and bike covers, locks and security systems from leading UK motorcycle security firm Oxford Essential Rider Equipment, the store will also be selling top quality raingear by frog toggs for boating, fishing and golf as well as bike riders. "Their Horny Toadz Rain Suits, for example, are made with an ultra-durable hybrid fabric called ToadSkinz that combines a waterproof, breathable, micro-porous film with a really comfortable non-woven inner layer." Kymco bikes are available from Kymco Bermuda at Church Street and Washington Lane, Hamilton. Call 295-0500 or visit www.kymco.bm
