Drivers are being warned that parking spaces and traffic may be disrupted on Victoria Street as utility companies carry out trenching work.A City of Hamilton spokeswoman said work has begun in the parking lane along the south side of Victoria Street between Court Street and Cedar Avenue.“The trenching work is being carried out by various utility companies in preparation for future major asphalt improvements along the street,” she said.“The City is working to ensure traffic disruptions are minimised and, where possible, parking bays will still be functional.“The City of Hamilton apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
