emergency room of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital late late Monday night.

Police spokesperson P.c. Gary Venning said the victim attended St. George's Police Station shortly before 11 p.m. bleeding from the neck. An ambulance rushed him to the hospital where he needed 18 stitches to close the wound.

The man reportedly became involved in an altercation with another man in a St.

George's bar when he was allegedly slashed across the neck with a knife. A 29-year-old St. George's man was arrested in connection with the incident.

Enquiries are continuing.

POLICE SEEK STOLEN TAXI CASH CRM Police seek stolen taxi cash Police are seeking the public's assistance to find a bag of cash nicked from a taxi.

Police spokesperson P.c. Gary Venning told The Royal Gazette a taxi driver reported a bag of cash was removed from his taxi which was parked outside of his Hamilton Parish home around 9.30 p.m, Monday.

The unlocked Toyota taxi was parked on Radnor Road.

Anyone with information about the incident should call St. George's CID at 297-1122.

NO INJURIES REPORTED IN 3-CAR PILE-UP AC No injuries reported in 3-car pile-up Only slight damage was reported in a three vehicle pile-up in Hamilton Parish.

Police spokesperson P.c. Gary Venning said the three-vehicle accident took place on Blue Hole Hill Monday afternoon.

A taxi, heading west, had stopped to allow a cycle to turn into the Grotto Bay Hotel entrance, he said.

Alight van, which was traveling in a line of vehicles, was unable to stop and collided with the rear of another light van. That van in-turn hit the rear of the taxi. Only slight damage was caused to all three vehicles and there were no injuries.

POLICE REPORT `FRIENDLY' HOLD-UP CRM Police report `friendly' hold-up Police are investigating an unusual robbery involving two friends. A 20-year-old complainant reported a 29-year-old friend had been visiting his family all day on Sunday.

He offered the friend a ride into town on his black Yamaha V80, licence number AN 583. But while riding east on Stowe Hill, Paget, the complainant felt a sharp object in his back and stopped his cycle.

He told Police he was relieved of his helmet and the suspect, of Pembroke, rode off in an easterly direction toward Hamilton. The victim could not identify the object used in the robbery.

SENIOR BUSTS DING-DONG ARTISTS CRM Senior busts ding-dong artists A fed up 74-year-old woman caught a young tormentor red handed after he and three others rang her doorbell and ran off.

Police on Monday said they assisted the woman -- who staked out her Laurel Lane, Sandys, home -- hoping to catch the group after they repeatedly rang her doorbell.

The youths -- over a period of several days -- would ring the doorbell at night and disappear by the time she answered it. All that changed however around 9 p.m. on Sunday, when the group returned, went onto the woman's property, rang her doorbell, and attempted to run off.

She grabbed one of them and held on to him until Police arrived. The other three made good their escape. The spunky senior did not make a formal complaint to Police, but the young man was warned against repeating his actions.
