special delivery to the Premier.

"I came to see the Premier,'' the man told Chief Justice Austin Ward, presiding over the trial of accused murderers Michael Brian Pitcher and Michael Dean Eberley. "I've got to give her a book.'' Wearing his dread-locks bound in kente cloth and a bright tie-dyed T-shirt, the man entered the court around 12.15 p.m.

Once inside, he stood quietly at the back of the room with a small box in his hands until Mr. Justice Ward interrupted a witness' testimony to ask what he wanted.

The man explained he wanted to give an autobiography of Haile Selassie to the Premier.

Mr. Justice Ward directed him to the public entrance of the upstairs House of Assembly.
