pleaded guilty to five traffic offences in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Vaughn S. Edwards is currently serving time in Casemates Prison and has been disqualified from driving until 1998 for previous traffic-related convictions.

On October 9, Edwards was stopped by Police on the Middle Road in Devonshire for riding an unlicensed motorcycle and fraudulently using a licensing sticker. The bike was also uninsured.

The Loyal Hill resident told the officers he was Jamal Zuill of Happy Valley Road, and signed the ticket with that name.

The following month, when Edwards was in the Hamilton Police Station on another matter, he was recognised by an officer as the person who was riding the cycle in October. After admitting his identity, he was charged with issuing false information and driving while disqualified.

Magistrate the Wor. John Judge said Edwards was "badly in need of some guidance'', and ordered a social inquiry report to be conducted "with a view towards (a sentence of) community service''.
