Warning issued after turtle is killed
The Marine Police are urging boat operators to use extra care after a third turtle was found killed in less than a month.
The latest dead animal was found floating near Darrell's Island.
Police are now warning boat users to slow down and to watch out for any semi-submerged creatures.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: "We are urging boat operators to use care and caution whilst operating power crafts in and around areas known to support marine turtle populations.
"Most of the dead turtles found have propeller slashes on their shells and were discovered in and around the Paradise Lakes area.
"Many areas have signs posted, warning of a turtle population.
"All boaters are therefore asked to go slow, keep a sharp lookout for any semi-submerged turtles and avoid getting too close to these sea creatures wherever possible."
