The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 2.32 points yesterday to close at 3,884.01.

On a quiet day of trading Bermuda Aviation Services gained 50 cents to close at $7.50 as investors traded in 1,000 shares.

The only other activity saw Butterfield Bank trade in 1,343 shares to remain unchanged at $46.60.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $70,083.80 and the overall volume of shares was 2,343.
