BSX reaches all-time high

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index reached an all time high yesterday gaining 118.46 points yesterday to close at 4,148.89.
On an active day of trading Butterfield Bank rose $2.50 to close at $52.50 as investors traded in 42,117 shares.
Belco gained 10 cents to close at $40 as 200 shares changed hands while Bermuda Aviation Services was the only issue to decline losing $1 to close at $6.50 on volume of 600 shares. Bermuda Container Line traded in 100 shares to remain unchanged at $14.50 and Argus Group Holdings traded in 42 shares to remain unchanged at $11.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $2,217,778.00 and the overall volume of shares was 43,059.
