BSX Index on the rise

The Bermuda Stock Exchange index edged forward yesterday after two stocks showed gains.BF&M gained 25 cents to close at $9.25 and KeyTech, the parent company of BTC and Logic Communications, gained 50 cents to close at $42.Bank of Bermuda closed unchanged at $43.00 and Bank of Butterfield did not trade but had a bid price of $32.00.

Bank of Bermuda closed unchanged at $43.00 and Bank of Butterfield did not trade but had a bid price of $32.00.
The index closed up 1.98 points or 0.08 percent at 2,582.85 on a volume of 6,150 shares worth $240,325.25.
