The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index gained 15.69 points or 0.60 percent yesterday to close at 2,626. A total of 5,200 shares worth 4198,000 were traded.

Bank of Butterfield was the only stock to change during yesterday's trading, gaining 50 cents or 1.1 percent to close at $44 on volume of 4,400 shares.

The only other issue to be traded was Island Press (Holdings) Ltd., which remained unchanged at $5.50 despite 800 shares being traded.
